Saw Big 2 taken down yesterday (3/31). When will it return? It is, by far, my favorite game on the site.

Glad to see the forum still works! I've neglected this site for a while since it didn't really gain much traction since its inception, but seeing that there is some demand for some games I will start to focus back on improving this site.
Big 2 (and other games) have been crashing every now and then, but processes are in place to revives itself automatically. Most of the time it is out of memory issues because I was losing too much money on server upkeep and had to jam all the games on to one server rather than multiple.
With that in mind, I am going to eliminate some of the less popular games so that Big 2 stays alive longer.

Should be back. Server sometimes goes down due to connection issues. I think the out of memory issues have been reduced after pulling some of the memory intensive games offline.
What are the custom options for the paid version?
After logging to Big2 and going to the drop down menu and clicking on settings, nothing happens.
I believe some time ago I enabled all the premium features and custom settings of Big 2 for everyone. The site just wasn't getting any traction, so I focused my attention on other projects. I wanted to give the small group of Big 2 regulars here better gameplay before eventually turning my attention away.
That being said I am still incurring server costs by keeping the site up. This is a cost I'm accepting so that my work doesn't go completely to waste (minus the games I took offline due to memory hogging — a necessity, as mentioned before, after having cut the server resources allocated to this site in half).
While premium settings specific to Big 2 are now free to all, a subscription will still enable all statistics to be unlocked, XP boosting, full game replays, and all other benefits listed here: https://www.gameslush.com/benefits
Thanks for that report. I see the issue — it should be bringing the same dialog up as clicking the "wrench" icon to the bottom-right of the chat.
For now, you can use that "wrench" icon to bring up the settings.
Is Big 2 back? What's the timeframe? I wanted to host a tournament for my cultural group and this seems to be the best site for it.
